I want to see God's hand much more clearly in this matter. I want to be led to more circumstances where I can bow down before Him in prayer, seeing the real present and pressing needs of souls of the Lord in R.C. congregation. If this was mere emotion and enthusiasm, I entreat God to take away every thought of it. If this is not from Him, let me rejoice, even if it meant bringing the whole plan eventually into nothing. If it is from Him, then do not let me fail in this. Let me see that it is not a vain thing to trust in a living God, examine my heart repeatedly so I could still say that His glory is my chief aim. Let me boast in the Lord before the sons of men.
