Way of Love
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.
As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known. So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Everyone who loves is born of God and knows God
No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.(1John)

Let Love Be Real
When God was merciful, when He revealed Jesus Christ to us, He won our hearts by His love. That was the beginning of our calling in divine love.
Let love be real, in giving and receiving,
without the need to manage and to own;
a haven free from posing and pretending,
where every weakness may be safely known.
Give me your hand, along the desert pathway,
give me your love wherever we may go:
as God loves us, so let us love each other,
with no demands, just open hands and space to grow.
Let love be real, not grasping or confining,
that strange embrace that holds yet sets us free;
that helps us face the risk of truly living,
and makes us brave to be what we might be.
Give me your strength when all my words are weakness,
give me your love in spite of all you know:
as God loves us, so let us love each other,
with no demands, just open hands and space to grow.
Let love be real, with no manipulation,
no secret wish to harness or control;
let us accept each other 's incompleteness,
and share the joy of learning to be whole.
Give me your hope through dreams and disappointments,
give me your trust when all my failings show:
as God loves us, so let us love each other,
with no demands, just open hands and space to grow.

I will be Mrs.my-husband's-name
I have just obtained a new stance on marriage. Once I’m married, my name will no longer be relevant. Once I’m married, I will be Mrs. My-husband’s-surname.* =P
*Mrs. My-husband's-name. (Edited later.)

'To be me'
It is where not us and our lives that are proved, but when others and their lives are demonstrated for us. To put oneself down, to let oneself be dealt with, to forget and lose oneself. And only then allow oneself to be found, by something external.
I was lost, and now am found. (Amazing grace)

Concealment
Why all this talk? I suppose it’s the degree of inconspicuousness that I was protesting against. One asked, what’s wrong with all the concealed conversations. I asked, or perhaps it is more secure to have it all sealed up and remain anonymous? In the past I have always perceived such attempts for bonding irresponsible and conniving. Maybe now I must rest in the trusting knowledge that everyone with all the limitations is trying his hardest to walk in obedience to God.

Also very peculiar
Men in building are very attentive to what they do. When deciding where to place something, they turn round and round deciding how and where to lie down. They weigh up the situation, unconsciously calculating the point of equilibrium. Intuition proposes, reason reasons.

Something is amiss. In the face of catastrophe, why does everything else go on, with its various insignificances?

Connections
I need to be with you, I need to be alone. I need to be like you, I need to be unlike you. A world in which you and I never connected would be a horror, and so would a world which we were exactly the same, and therefore connect unfailingly, with every object on every occasion. Help us to be us, help you to be you, and me be me. And thank God for these.

Peculiar
Her thinking with no trouble becomes musing. The contemplation is in its entirety and at great length. She finds peace and pleasure upon the distant past and is lost in thought in faraway happenings of the long ago. Of a mind to introspection, she retreats from crowd, is
appallingly inattentive to her environment, and she has very poor exercise of her senses, eyes, ears, and so on. In companionship of others she is often unfocused, absorbed in the world of her own mind. A deficiency in observation and also her daydreaming. Thus the calamities and ‘accidents’ in her daily life and at her work.

Who then is best
Who is there that has all things according to his will? Neither I nor you, nor any man on earth. There is no man in the world without some trouble or affliction be he king or pope. Who then is the best off? Truly he that is able to suffer something for the love of God.
