Concealment

Why all this talk? I suppose it’s the degree of inconspicuousness that I was protesting against. One asked, what’s wrong with all the concealed conversations. I asked, or perhaps it is more secure to have it all sealed up and remain anonymous? In the past I have always perceived such attempts for bonding irresponsible and conniving. Maybe now I must rest in the trusting knowledge that everyone with all the limitations is trying his hardest to walk in obedience to God.

I am glad for what you wrote.

Concealed conversations, as you call it, are not identical with irresponsibility or connivance, although there is a tendency that they can be used for those.

Not everybody is irresponsible and conniving. Some of them are really lousy at communicating, in speech as well as in writing, that they choose to express themselves through that which is 'less lousy'. And for some, that is through writing. Some others are so self-conscious that as soon as they hear themselves speak, they are at a loss for words. Still some others are still struggling to know themselves, to be themselves, to know 'the real me'.

But, yes, let everyone seeks to achieve and maintain balance, to be true to our fellow human beings, in speech, in writings, in attitudes, and in thoughts, as we are before God.

Those who persistently think 'I cannot come' must learn to see grace as grace.
