Thanking GOD

Thanking GOD for:

AS and YD and their house-warming dinner; the evening with them warmed my heart.
DS for letting me share her tears, after so many laughters she shares. =')
SG for plan to HK, feeling special to go for a duo trip with someone special.
AN and PP for beginning their journey as one.
AK. For himself.

Still remembering the game 'number 3' we played at dining table yesterday. Guessing the guys feigned losing so that the girls won't have to eat the last bits of food. =) What two gentlemen ya =)

Half

Half Nelson half person half grace.

One does not have to be good to do good things for common good. When one does bad things does not mean one is bad.

Comfort and encouragement for half me.

"Why do you ask me about what is good?" "There is only One who is good."

That shows that men are born sinners; we have the original sin inherited from the first Adam.

But the fact there is some good in this world, shows that there is common grace. Common grace prevents men from becoming even worse. Men are totally depraved, but not utterly depraved. And remember that men are created in the image of God.

Esther and GOD?

In a nutshell. No indication, no suggestion, no aid to memories, no foresight, no sense of GOD. HE is gone and missing. Or concealed.

12 When Esther's words were reported to Mordecai, 13 he sent back this answer: "Do not think that because you are in the king's house you alone of all the Jews will escape. 14 For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?" 15 Then Esther sent this reply to Mordecai: 16 "Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my maids will fast as you do. When this is done, I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish."

"If I perish, I perish."
Esther teaches serious responsibility, of one's individual task.
