Good for truly good reason

Blessed are the poor in spirit.. Matt 5:3a

We are good for good reason. Good because we see our own utter emptiness by nature of everything good, and of any tendency to that which is good, that nearly the whole power of the sensibility continually tends towards selfishness. We are blessed because we are nothing, to know and do nothing of ourselves, and instead to have and need HIM for everything - for breath, for grace, for faith, for fullness, to have and need HIM in all and all.
